Why feet first?

At a young age as a skier I was aware that my ski boots and how they fit affected how well I skied, some boots made my legs quickly fatigue and less responsive. This made more sense when I got into practice over 20 years ago and observed how many spinal and muscular problems throughout the body begin with the feet. The feet contain a higher percent of specialized cells (called proprioceptors) that tell the brain where we are in space. These cells are essential for equilibrium, balance, coordination and efficiency of movement. Barefooted is the way to make the best use of the inherent design of the feet and beginning ProBodX with exercising the feet is the best way to unify the body preparing for the exercises to come.

What is the reason for the order of the exercises?

My practice has been extremely varied from chronic illness, athletic injuries and people wanting to improve their health and the quality of their lives. Symptoms that present themselves only tell you there is a problem not what and where that problem is. The problem may be distant from the symptom area. Tracing the symptom to the actual source of the problem revealed neuromuscular and kinetic patterns that are then incorporated into ProBodX. Some of those patterns include beginning ProBodX with the feet and hands. Working small muscles first, utilizing the antigravity nature of the muscles of the rib cage and focusing on the muscles that support and move the shoulder blade.

How would you sum up ProBodX?

ProBodX works with the design of the body working from the inside out. ProBodX eliminates pain, whether it is back, knee, foot, shoulder or wherever the area of pain. At the same time you get in shape, lose weight and improve athletic ability. ProBodX is inexpensive and doesn’t require a gym or trainer. ProBodX appeals to all ages from 6 to 91 and all abilities, the everyday person to the professional athlete.
